Just a few days after expressing a desire to work in serious roles, comedian Arshad Warsi has announced that he will be playing a negative role in an upcoming film titled ‘Maximum’.
‘Starting a new film on the 6th called MAXIMUM a serious film, I m playing an encounter specialist n yes finally I am doing a negative role (sic),’ Arshad posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.
The 42-year-old was earlier seen in serious roles in films like ‘Seher’ and ‘Kuch Meetha Ho Jaaye’, but got fame in Bollywood thanks to comedies like ‘Munnabhai M.B.B.S’, ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’, ‘Salaam Namaste’, ‘Golmaal’ series, ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ and ‘Dhamaal’, among others.
